Where do our People stand? We as African American People point fingers towards what should be done, how we should do it, what we don't do and who's suppose to be doing it. "LET'S DO IT!!!!" We don't have a Malcolm X or Martin Luther King. We have Ed Sullivan, Chris Matthews and others from the Caucasian race to host the shows, sitting in the big chair. That's showing them as our leaders. So, if I have to give props where I shouldn't be giving them I will, "Thanks Ed and Chris." Should I add, "Thanks for letting us declare war upon your stage. We sat shooting verbal drama amongst our own Black Brotha's with no sight of life during this war. Blood spilled from the tube upon my living room floor. Our people didn't acknowledge the need of the meeting, but they sure did come alive tweeting the punches and swings waiting for the 1st round knock out blow. I saw sitting time bombs waiting to explode from the beginning. Now I read your personal blogs about the stage brawl. You now are taddle telling on one another. He did this and he did that. I was being breast fed when those words were draining from my mouth. Then I was beat cause i was part of the scene.
Then, Our Beautiful Black Sista's were the ones spitting the knowledge that would have put out the fire. Like always, our Black Brotha's let the Ed's in, while realizing their lack of leadership. So Black Brotha's have to push our Sista's back into the kitchen to regain our pride and dominance as Black Men over somebody. But who had to come between us?" "Oh, Thanks again Ed."
So, our so-called Black Leaders, how much do we have to pay you to form a Million People March? "You'll get paid for it." At least 2 times a year. "You'll get paid for it." You have sponsors that will pay for it. "Don't worry, you will get your cut" How about going to the state colleges and doing speeches? "You'll get paid for it." How about going to some Female organizations to give them support. "You'll get paid for it." I feel that the ones who call themselves our leaders have their minds focused on getting paid. "Let me stop in the studio and do a quick segment and get paid." Is that what is on your mind? I have Black People in my town who would appreciate a message. So why don't you contact me. I'll holla @ delta to land you here, spot Avis and the gas, tuck you in over at Holiday Inn, nice hot homemade meal and a Lysol clean toilet. Let me see who calls me 1st.
I bet Malcolm and MLK's mind were not focused on, "Will we get Paid for it?" I'm voting for any Strong Beautiful Black Queen as my leader. Now I want the Sista' Melissa Perry's, Mara Schiavocapo's, Whoopi's, Michelle Obama's, Gayle King's, etc..., to lead.
