Homosexuality? Between you and Jah. Why should African Americans care about it?

Even though we vote in politics, is homosexuality a topic my people should stick our nose in?

1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 reads, "Do you not know that those doing such things have no share in the Kingdom of God?  Don't fool yourselves.  Those who live immoral lives, who idol worshipers, adulterers or homosexuals- will have no share in his Kingdom.  Neither will thieves or greedy people, drunkards, slanderers, or robbers."
 ok
Matthew 15:19 reads, "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander."

"Evil thought's huh?"  It's gonna be crowded in Hell. So I guess you and I will be chillin with Gay and Lesbians. We all will enjoy hanging with our preachers.  We have always wondered what is our preachers weaknesses."

He without sin cast the 1st stone.  As a Strong Black Man I have personally seen so much going on in this evil political country I was born in.  Our forefathers were stolen from Africa to become the slaves who built this land called, 'America'.  Sometimes I hate to rest my head upon, this stolen, land of innocent tribes.  Through Black History I have come to learn the history of tribes, their land and their tribal gifts.  As slaves we had no rights, our Beautiful Black Queens were rapped, our people were killed, hanged and stripped of our innocence.  But we held on to the Faith we had in God that has helped us to endure.  We are Jah's People.

So, what does this have to do with the topic? My point is,
Should my people even get involved in this evil political side of the road regarding gay and lesbian rights?  Or should we reminisce about the evilness that was done to our forefather and the evilness we deal with today towards our own Freedom, Rights and the lack of Respect that we have earned?  If you are a homosexual I mean you no disrespect.  I do not agree with what you do, but I will mind my own business.
Who am I to judge you. God created me to sleep like you, eat like you and work like you.  I add and subtract like you, I speak like you and I enjoy life like you do.  I even pray in the same position you do.  "Think about this, When you and another car approach a 4 way stop sign, do you ask them questions?  Some may see our color and think, "That's a Nigger so I won't let them go 1st."  Do people get out and ask the question, "Are gay or lesbian?"  Guess what?  You socialize with gay's and lesbians.  By the way, any Gay or Lesbian reading, "I'll motion you forward if you approach the stop sign before me."

My people don't have to agree with their practice but we have to respect them with the respect they deserve.  The respect that we lacked, have lacked and that we are lacking, still today.  We can't be hypocrites.  It's because we're Black that we're not liked.  We're known as the ones who pack prisons, robbers, killers, uneducated, trouble, etc. . . So we need to get into our own households, neighborhoods and schools.  Let's mind our own business.  We don't get into the business of robbers, rapist, haters, racists until they step into our space.

So, to those who read.  It's none of my business what you do and what gays and lesbians do.  I don't have to vote for it or against it.  Whoever they conceive their God to be is who they will discuss it with.  Who are You to judge them, who are we to judge them and who am I to judge them?  Who are they to judge us.

He without sin cast the first stone.

"Oh by the way,  I have heard hell is hot.  So spread the word to dress loosely."

 I'm off the mic.

Much Love, Honor and Respect
Funkface
PS No one can never compare what my people went through.  So please note that this is no comparison.
